BASA 2021 Competition: NEW schedule reschedules tests for April

The evidence of the contest public of the Bank of the Amazon (Basa Competition 2021) have been rescheduled. The information was confirmed this Wednesday, March 10, through the Official Gazette of the Union. The exams were initially scheduled to be held on March 14.

The change takes into account Decrees No. 836, No. 25,853, and No. 36,531, which update and establish new measures to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic in the States of Mato Grosso, Rondônia and Maranhão.

Now, with the new schedule, all candidates will be evaluated in April.

According to the published document, 05 immediate vacancies are offered for the position of Scientific Technician, in the area of Information Technology.

Of the number of vacancies offered, three are for general competition, one for self-declared black or brown people and one for people with disabilities (PcD). In addition to the immediate vacancies, there will be a reserve list for up to 100 vacancies, 75 for general competition, 20 for self-declared black or brown people and 05 for people with disabilities.

To compete for one of the vacancies in the Basa contest 2021, the candidate must have a certificate of completion or higher education degree in Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Bachelor of Information Technology, Database Technology, Data Processing Technology, Computer Network Technology, Information Technology Management Technology, System Analysis, Technology in System Analysis and Development, Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Science, Computing - emphasis on Information Systems, Computer Science - System Analysis, Computer Science - Information Systems, Technology in Information System Design or System Development issued by an educational institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), State Education Secretariats or Councils.

The salary is R$4,631.82, being R$3,145.79 of basic salary and R$1,486.03 of food assistance (food voucher and basket). In addition, the following benefits will be offered:

• Daycare assistance;
• Possibility of exercising paid functions, at the discretion of Banco da Amazônia;
• Possibility of professional advancement and development;
• Possibility of participating in the Banco da Amazônia Supplementary Pension Plan – PrevAmazônia;
• Participation in the Company's profits or results, in compliance with the legal provisions in force.

The working hours of the civil servants will be 30 hours per week, which corresponds to a daily workday of 6 hours. Those approved will be hired under the CLT regime.

Those approved will be assigned to the Metropolitan Region of Belém, in Pará, where Basa is headquartered. Approved candidates who do not accept the admission location will be excluded from the competition.

Registrations

Those interested in competing for one of the vacancies were able to register between January 7 and February 8, 2021, on the website of the Cesgranrio Foundation, the organizer of the competition. The registration fee cost R$$120.

Evidence

The BASA competition will include an objective test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature. The evaluation is scheduled to take place in date to be set, in the cities of Belém/PA, Boa Vista/RR, Cuiabá/MT, Macapá/AP, Manaus/AM, Palmas/TO, Porto Velho/RO, Rio Branco/AC, Santarém/PA and São Luís/MA.

The test will have 60 questions, 30 of which will be on Basic Knowledge and 30 on Specific Knowledge. The Basic Knowledge test will include questions on Portuguese Language: 10 questions; Notions of the Banking System: 10 questions; Legislation: five questions; and Current Affairs: five questions.

To pass, you must obtain a score greater than 55% of the total score in the Basic and Specific Knowledge tests. In addition, you must guarantee at least 45% correct answers in the Basic Knowledge test and 55% in the Specific Knowledge test.

The BASA competition will be valid for 12 months, starting from the date of approval of the final result (May 20). The deadline may be extended once, for the same period.
