A new notice of contest public of Military Police of Rio Grande do Norte (PM RN Contest 2021) is approaching. The new competition was announced last Monday, February 1st, by the State Governor, Fátima Bezerra. On her social media, she confirmed that 211 vacancies will be opened for combat officers and the medical staff of the corporation.
Of the total number of vacancies expected for the next competition, 132 will be for combat officers. The career, by law, requires Bachelor of Laws. The remaining 79 vacancies will be offered for the PM medical staff.
In the second case, opportunities are foreseen for the staff of officers and health support, which may require a higher level in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Nutrition, Psychology, Veterinary Medicine or Biomedicine.
“We will now also hold a selection process for officers, with 132 positions for combat officers and 79 for the PM medical staff. We are doing something unprecedented in Rio Grande do Norte. This is the first time in history that a government has managed to make new hires for all of the state’s security forces viable,” said the governor on her social media.
The officer, in the rank of 2nd lieutenant, has remuneration of R$9,822.51. The enlisted men (soldiers) have the initials of R$3,571.82, which can reach R$8,929.56 in the role of second lieutenant.
The competition notice is expected to be published by June, as the corporation informed the Folha Dirigida website in January.
Now, one basic project will be sent to the organizing committees soon. Only after the company has been chosen and signed by the parties will the notice be published.
Determination of Justice
In May 2020, the 6th Public Treasury Court of Natal partially upheld the request made by the Public Prosecutor's Office of RN to open a new competition for the corporation.
The Court considered that the last PM-RN competition for health positions took place in 2000, that is, more than 20 years ago. In addition, the Court assessed that, with the current staff, the tendency is for the staff to be emptied.
The determination also stated that, although 100 thousand people benefit from the support bodies of the Health Directorate of the Military Police of Rio Grande do Norte, the Public Authorities did not adopt any measures to avoid the collapse of the Military Police Hospitals-RN.
