What Loans Are There for Individuals
At Caixa Econômica Federal, you will find one of the largest and most varied loan menus, both for your personal use and for your company. With a history of more than 150 years, Caixa has accompanied much of the country's growth. As an entirely public company, the objective is the development of Brazil, promoting social justice and awareness of environmental care. The inclusion of the entire social sector has been a priority for Caixa, which considers social inclusion a requirement for the country's advancement.
At Caixa, you will find a huge variety of options to satisfy any economic need. There are personal loans, which you borrow and use for whatever purpose you want, and credits, for financing homes and vehicles, among other specific things.
Do I have to prove my income?
Most loans require you to prove income to take out the product. Many of them need to check your salary to be sure that you will return the money without complications. In this way, Caixa can guarantee lower interest rates, by assuming a lower risk. If you are self-employed, you may also have access to some types of credit. In this case, you will not have a formal contract, but you can present your income tax return or some other document that proves it.
What are the requirements to be able to hire
The main requirement to have access to any of the credit lines offered is to have a current account at Caixa Econômica Federal. The account may be necessary for the bank to assess your payment capacity, through operations carried out with the money. And the current account will also be used to make debits, thus dispensing with other payment methods such as bank slips or checks. The list of requirements varies depending on the type of credit requested, and may be as follows:
Present personal documentation: identity card, CPF, proof of residence
Have a clean name. This is only valid for some credits. Other modalities do not require having an unrestricted name, as they do not carry out research in the bodies that protect credit.
In other specific loans, other additional documentation may be required, as in the case of a loan secured by property, in which it will be necessary to have the property registration number.
Do Loans Require Collateral? Which ones can I use?
At Caixa, some loans may require guarantees, while others do not require them. With a consignment, for example, no guarantee is needed. Other credits, such as your own property, require a residence guarantee to be approved. Caixa also has a unique modality, which is the pledge, in which you can give a personal item of value as collateral for the credit.
How do I pay?
Payment will be made, for most credits, by debiting your current account. That is, the installments are fixed, of the same value every month, debited automatically. This will save you from standing in long queues, or also having to worry about taking the money to the branch each month. Debit from account, therefore, can represent a great advantage compared to other forms of payment such as bank slip or booklet. The payroll deductible is a separate case, as it uses direct payroll deduction or INSS benefit.
Credits for Individuals
Next, we will discuss the lines of credit for individuals, both personal loans, which can be used as you wish, and specific financing, such as those for purchasing a car or house.
