Nutrition Technician
Nutrition, food conservation and quality technicians control food quality during the production stages, supervising production and distribution processes, checking environmental conditions, equipment and products (fresh and prepared). They can participate in research to improve, adapt and develop products and promote the sale of inputs, products and equipment. Food technicians work primarily in the food industry. Nutrition and dietetics technicians work under the supervision of a nutritionist, working primarily in food and nutrition units (healthy communities) and nutrition and dietetics units (preferably sick communities) and public health.
