Teachers<\/strong> who work in the area of sport<\/strong> in schools<\/strong> and other public institutions have the opportunity to receive free training. These are opportunities provided by the MEC (Ministry of Education), which aim to enhance the careers of Olympic and Paralympic educators.<\/p>\n

The courses, which are available online, are free of charge. Furthermore, they will be available starting this March for educators who work in a variety of sports segments. In other words, they could be physical education teachers in the basic education system, for example, or pedagogical coordinators in this area, teacher assistants, assistant educators, etc.<\/p>\n

According to the MEC, the initiative aims to promote sports in public schools, promoting the values of sport throughout the school community.<\/p>\n
