O Federal Accounting Council will open a new call for applications contest public (CFC Competition 2021) soon. At the moment, the contest is in the phase of choosing the organizing committee.
According to the basic design of the competition, used in the selection process, the competition will have six vacancies, in addition to a reserve list. The opportunities will be offered to candidates with secondary and higher education, distributed as follows:

Those approved in the competition will be hired under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT). Those approved will work in Brasília, in the Federal District.
The objective tests will have 50 General and Specific Knowledge questions, distributed as follows:
General Knowledge – All positions
- Portuguese language;
- Mathematics/Logical Reasoning;
- Specific Legislation; and
- Computer Basics
Specific Knowledge – Administrative Technician
- Knowledge of Administration;
- Notions of People Management;
- Notions of Labor Legislation;
- Notions of Financial Mathematics;
- Tenders;
- Knowledge of Quality and Productivity;
- Customer Service Techniques; Filing; and Asset Control; and
- Notions of Risk Management and Compliance.
Specific Knowledge – Accounting Analyst
- Specific Professional Legislation and Professional Ethics;
- General Accounting;
- Public Accounting;
- Public Budget;
- Analysis of Financial Statements;
- Audit;
- Expertise; and
- Financial Mathematics.
Specific Knowledge – Legal Attorney
- Constitutional Law;
- Administrative Law;
- Tax Law;
- Labor Law and Labor Procedural Law;
- Civil Law; and
- Procedural Law.
According to the basic project, to be approved, the candidate must obtain at least 60% in General Knowledge and 60% in the Specific part. In the discursive test, at least 50% of the total points of the exam will be required.
The last CFC notice was published in 2010
The last CFC competition notice was published in 2010. At the time, the published notice offered vacancies for secondary, secondary/technical and higher education positions.
The competition for intermediate level had vacancies for administrative assistant and administrative assistant, with earnings of R$1,540.91 and R$2,635.48, respectively. For intermediate/technical level, vacancies were offered for technical assistant/diagrammer, with salaries of R$3,363.60. For higher level, vacancies were offered for lawyer and systems analyst, with salaries of R$4,969.58 for both positions.
In addition to the salaries paid by the CFC, candidates were able to receive health and dental plans and meal or food vouchers, partially subsidized. Those approved were assigned to Brasília (DF).
The competition included objective and discursive tests. The objective exam had 50 questions, 20 of which were on Basic Knowledge and 30 on Specific Knowledge. The first block, in the basic part, covered questions on the Portuguese Language, Specific Legislation and Basic Notions of IT.
According to the notice, the discursive tests of candidates with 50% or more correct answers in the objective assessment were corrected. To pass the discursive test of the competition, it was necessary to obtain ten points or more.
Candidates approved in all stages of the competition were called under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT). The CFC competition was valid for two years, with a validity extension for the same period.
