O Court of Justice of the State of Amapá will open a new call for applications contest public (TJ AP Contest 2021) for the position of Substitute Judge. The new president of the body, judge Rommel Araújo, revealed that there is a need to open a new notice.
The judge mentioned several competitions in different areas, including that of Judge. According to him, what was already started by the previous administration will be continued.
“We now have to look at the real need, based on the fiscal responsibility law itself, we cannot exceed the number within the budget for personnel.”
On February 24, the TJ-AP revealed that the examining board for the competition for the position of Judge would be chosen. The announcement was published on its website. According to the agency, the examining board will be defined in an Administrative Session of the TJAP Plenary.
The Session was scheduled to take place after the Ordinary Judicial Session scheduled for 8 am, and will be broadcast on the Judiciary's YouTube channel.
In addition to the panel, the session would address other topics such as the “proposed Resolution to regulate special working conditions for judges and civil servants with disabilities, special needs, serious illnesses or who are parents or guardians of dependents in these same conditions.”
The new authorization order for the competition was published in the Official Gazette of the Administrative Plenary Court on October 23. In the text, the president, judge João Guilherme Lages Mendes, justifies that the authorization is mainly for the reason that it is already 'the list of approved candidates and the validity of the last competition for judges has been exhausted'.
The document published by the agency authorizes and also forms an organizing committee for the competition. The agency had already created an organizing committee in July, but the current working group has a larger number of members. See the committee:

Authorized competition
The competition was officially authorized and the organizing committee was confirmed once again. The ordinance authorizing the competition was officially and definitively published in the agency's Electronic Official Gazette of Justice.
“Authorizes the holding of the 10th Public Examination of Tests and Qualifications for the provision of positions of Substitute Judge of Law of the Justice of the State of Amapá,” says the ordinance that is already in force.
Initially, the public competition for Substitute Judge of TJ-AP was approved by a majority on March 11, 2020. The selection was also confirmed by the agency through its social networks. The notice does not yet have a publication date, but there is great expectation that the document will be published in 2020.
The TJ AP 2021 competition – Substitute Judge
O TJ-AP public competition for the position of Substitute Judge will offer a total of 7 vacancies, in addition to forming a reserve list, for hiring according to the needs of the agency. The registration fee will cost R$$304.04.
To apply for the position of Substitute Judge, the candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Law and prove three years of legal practice, carried out after obtaining the Bachelor's degree.
The starting salary of a TJ-AP magistrate is R$$30,404.40. The stages of the new competition, committee, examining board and date of the notice have not yet been announced.
The competition will consist of the following stages:
- 1ststage: Selective objective test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature;
- 2nd stage: Written tests (discursive and sentences), of an eliminatory and classificatory nature;
- 3rdstage: This stage will consist of four sub-phases, of an eliminatory nature;

Latest announcement for the TJ AP competition – Substitute Judge
The last one public competition held by TJ-AP for the position of Substitute Judge was held in 2014. At the time, 11 immediate vacancies were offered. . There was a reservation of 10% of the vacancies for people with disabilities.
The competition had five stages, of an eliminatory and qualifying nature:
- Objective test;
- Two written tests;
- Oral test;
- Initial training course; and
- Evaluation of securities.
In addition to the above steps, candidates must complete the final registration, which consists of an investigation into their past life and social investigation, a physical and mental health examination, and a psychotechnical examination. All stages were held in the capital Macapá (AP).
The organization of the last public competition of TJ-AP was by Carlos Chagas Foundation (FCC). At the time, the registration fee cost R$217.12.
The validity of the public tender of the Court of Justice of Amapá was two years, counted from the approval of the final result, and may be extended for the same period.
