Telecomunicações Brasileiras SA – Telebras will open a new public tender notice. The information published in the Official Gazette of the Union on Monday, March 8, states that Cebraspe will organize the agency's next notice.
“Contracting a company to provide specialized technical services for organizing and holding a public competition to fill vacancies and create a reserve list for the TELEBRAS Staff”, as stated in bidding waiver document:
The positions, number of vacancies and salaries for the next competition have not yet been confirmed. Furthermore, there is also no deadline for the opening notice to be published.
Telebras and vacant positions
On June 24, 2020, the ordinance approving the number of Telebras' own personnel was released, signed by the Secretary of Coordination and Governance of State-Owned Companies (Sest), Amaro Luiz de Oliveira Gomes. The document was published in the Official Gazette of the Union.
According to the description in the published document, there are 428 positions in the state-owned company, namely:
- 57 are temporary and will be terminated as soon as they become vacant; and
- 371 are permanent employees.
The permanent staff includes hiring by competition, when commissioned functions, professionals assigned or requested from other bodies, temporary workers, among others.
It is worth remembering that the company's hiring is carried out under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT).
Latest announcement for the TELEBRAS competition
To fill vacant positions, Telebras is working to open a new competition notice. The reserve list from the last notice is no longer valid.
The notice published in 2015 had 39 vacancies for placement in Brasília, in addition to forming a reserve list. There were more than 100 ordinances published to call those approved in the competition.
Vacancies were opened for specialists in various areas, requiring a higher education level, and technicians, also in various specialties, with opportunities at intermediate and technical levels.
O Event Selection and Promotion Center (CESPE) coordinated the contest. The vacancies for the position of Telecommunications Management Specialist requires higher education and are for lawyers, accountants, administrators, auditors, statisticians and others.
To apply, a higher education degree in the respective area was required. The starting salary was R$6,929.58 for 40 hours per week.
The Telebras competition had vacancies for Telecommunications Technician – requires secondary education – in the area of Telecommunications Management Technician – Occupation: Technical Assistant. The salary was R$ 2,612.64, for 40 hours per week.
